• GENTA-COLL resorb® for fast hemostasis with infection control
• Wire adaptation after sternotomy in steel and titan. Needle with lowest cutting-resistance. 

GENTA-COLL resorb®-sponge can be cut into strips or inserted completely:

• Retrosternal, under the steel wires 
• Intrasternal, between the bone surfaces
• Presternal, right before final wound closure 

The steel- or titan-combination has a very high tear strength and the needles have the lowest punction resistance available on the market. 

• hypoallergene INOX-steel or even titan 
• Cut surfaces of needles reduce punction resistance 
• No stretching
• No wicking

Hemostasis and antibiotic protection uncompromised: 

• primary wound healing of all ports 
• postoperative corsage nutrition for three months with early functional secondary treatment  
• no microbiological residue found
• histologic: bacterial infection 
• systemic antibiotic treatment with Ciprofloxacin 2x 500 mg oral for 8 weeks until infection parameters have mostly normalised. Full subsidation of neurological symptoms in both legs  
• fast subsiding of back pain symptoms
• after recovery almost fully independant lifestyle possible
