Ostene

Ostene is the first biosoluble bone haemostat and is made from advanced AOC polymers. The use of Ostene as a water-soluble implant material to control bleeding from bone surfaces results in a new, modern level.

Ostene is a synthetic, biosoluble implant material:

• Provides rapid bone haemostasis
• Can be used on bleeding bone surfaces 
• Is fully biocompatible 
• Does not need to be removed the water soluble polymer degrades within 48 hours 
• Acts as a mechanical barrier without biochemical action.
